GA Fall Update
As of Fall 2010, full-time graduate assistants supported by the Graduate School will receive a partial tuition waiver equivalent to 6 semesters of graduate credit. Graduate assistants on a half-time appointment (10 hrs/week) will receive a tuition waiver of 3 semester hours of graduate credit per semester.
Spring 2011 Application Deadline
Applications for Spring 2011 Admission for US students are due by December 13.
Apply for Summer Graduation
Applications for Summer 2011 conferral of degrees are due to the Graduate School by May 12. Students may apply online using the link on the Current Students webpage.
Learn Online with EKU
Learn Online with EKU. EKU now offers students the opportunity to earn their master’s degrees online.
NEW GRE LAUNCHING FALL 2011
The Educational Testing Service (ETS) announced that the GRE will undergo a host of noteworthy changes, including dropping analogy questions and introducing a new scoring scale. These will be the most significant changes to the test in its 59-year history. The new test will launch in fall of 2011.

New Policy for Grad Applications
Effective July 1, 2011 the $35 application fee will be required for all online applications to the Graduate School. The new fee for paper applications is $40. Please contact the Graduate School if you have any questions about this change.

New Doctoral Program in Psychology - Coming Fall 2015
RICHMOND, Ky. (Sept. 19, 2014) — Eastern Kentucky University’s newly-approved Psy.D. program in Clinical Psychology will focus on preparing practitioners to work in underserved rural areas when it launches in Fall 2015.
New Entrance Exam Policy
Effective July 1, 2017, the Graduate School will only accept entrance exam (GRE, GMAT, MAT) scores that fall within five years of the test date. TOEFL results will only be accepted two years after the prospective student took the exam.

Julia Lloyd is a Master of Public Health Student with a concentration in Nutrition and previously served as a graduate assistant in the Family and Consumer Sciences department. Julia is from Feeding Hills, MA and received her undergraduate degree in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky.
